Description
Accessing the relevant support to meet individual needs is not as easy as some may assume. Community Care criteria is bound by policy at national and local level; our Officers guide older people through this and liaise with statutory bodies and local providers in order to advise as to the availability of Community Care locally. It is vital that older people receive the support they need to remain safe, happy and independent in the community for as long as they wish, and it is this shared goal that we work towards in our advice and assistance for older people within this area.
