South Lakeland Community Learning and Skills offer a wide range of courses for people of all levels and interests, both qualifications and none-qualifications in a broad range of subjects. Based in Kendal, we run courses over a wide range of areas, including Ulverston, Sedbergh, Grange, Ambleside, Windermere, and Kirkby Lonsdale.

South Lakes Community Learning and Skills run a broad range of courses for adults over 19, including but not limited to Arts & Crafts, Digital Skills, Languages, and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). We also provide support for learners wishing to gain qualifications, including Functional Skills and GCSE courses.
We also work closely with the local community to provide Targeted Learning support for Schools, Care Homes, Children's Centres, and more specialist partners. For example, we work closely with jobcentres and organisations such as Right2Work, running 'Employability' courses to help people gain employment.
