We're an independent sight loss charity supporting visually impaired people in West Cumbria. We provide a Resource & Information Centre open 9:00 - 16:30, Monday - Friday, in Whitehaven where we have been based for thirty years and have an important role in the local community and communities that we serve. We maintain strong relationships with the other sight loss charities in Cumbria and with local agencies who offer services which are beneficial to our clients.

From our Resource Centre we provide information and advice, demonstrate specialist equipment and sell low vision aids which are beneficial to our members. We organise social groups and provide home visiting and telephone befriending services. We take referrals-in from clients and their families themselves and also from a range of agencies. We make referrals-out to these and similar agencies.
