UDCP Ltd is a not-for-profit community organisation based in Hawes, in the heart of the Upper Dales in Richmondshire, North Yorkshire.
Our vision is to support the Upper Dales to be a thriving, self-reliant community, with a bright future. We are run by local people, we care for local people, and we are driven by the needs of local people.
Our mission is to harness the community’s passionate sense of pride, independence and self-reliance, identifying un-met needs and either seizing opportunities to meet them, or creating a bespoke solution for those needs.

We provide a variety of services, both independently and in partnership with other organisations:
- Hawes Community Library
- Hawes Post Office
- Council General Enquiries Desk
- Council Tax/Rent payments
- Little White Bus Community Transport
- Home to School Transport
- Little White Car - volunteer led patient transport
- Dale Head Community Garage Petrol Station
- Business Unit Management
- A Good Life volunteer services, providing support to those more vulnerable members of our community
- Upper Dales Community Hub - a warm, safe space for people to meet and chat over a friendly cuppa
- Upper Dales Home Care - practical support provided for those who need a little extra care at home
