Chopstick (North Yorkshire) Ltd are a non-profit business that provides supported work in a workshop environment for adults with learning disabilities, and was founded in 1997. We also offer volunteering opportunities to those with mental health and other issues to help them regain their confidence and reach a point where they are ready to re-join a work and/or social environment.
We produce kindling from recycled wood, make garden ware, glass art and resin products, upcycle and repurpose items. We also offer a garden maintenance service for the elderly and disabled residents in the district. We enable individuals to keep their independence by helping them with paperwork, to attend medical appointments, go shopping and socialise.
