Libraries are at the heart of our communities. They bring people together, empower idea-sharing, address social isolation, and help to improve the health and well-being of individuals. Libraries are diversifying beyond books by offering other culturally-enriching opportunities for individuals and groups to learn new skills, exchange ideas, meet like-minded people, and generally strengthen the fabric of local communities.
We have a number of projects such as Reading Friends, English Cafe, Climate Reading Groups, Black Memories Matter, Summer Reading Challenge, The January Challenge, Reading Riot, World Book Night and many more and we're working to create partnerships in the community to develop and strengthen participation.
