January 16th 2018, Damian Graham took his life – an unnecessary death at the hands of mental health and drugs. Damian dedicated his life to helping and lifting up those around him, in whatever way he could and usually at the detriment to himself.
In March 2019, over a year after his death, Rise & Shine Lancashire was born. Created to be a resource for the people of Lancashire who find themselves struggling with their mental health, our aim is simple yet powerful: to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness by making conversation about mental wellbeing something that’s part of everyday life.
We offer peer support groups and daily support for people living with mental health problems.
