Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) is a small charity doing big things to support the people, landscape and wildlife of the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas. We deliver diverse and inspirational projects including countryside apprenticeships, education and outreach, restoring woodlands and wildlife habitats and conserving heritage.

We work hard to look after this unique area and it’s spectacular and precious landscapes, whilst giving diverse, under-represented and young people from some of the most deprived communities in the country the chance to learn new skills and to enjoy and understand this special place. Our projects help people to visit, care for and live sustainably in and around the Dales. We take a flexible and collaborative approach to ensure that we can continue to meet the changing needs of the area.
