We have a range of activities, events and groups at the library including:
IT buddy support - the library holds IT support sessions run by knowledgeable volunteers to introduce and build confidence in using computers and the internet. Booking essential.
Creative Writing Group - the creative writing group meets on the last Wednesday of the month from 6.30pm to 8pm. Aimed at adults, the group take turns to set writing exercises, read out work, and get involved with creative writing projects.
Knit and Natter - the group meets every Wednesday from 10am to 12 noon. Aimed at anyone who likes crafting, it's an informal group who meet weekly to knit, crochet and craft in a social setting. All welcome.
Reading Group - our monthly reading group meets on a Wednesday evening. Literacy Lunch book group meets on the first Wednesday of the month 1-2pm. Please contact the library about places available.
Lego Club - meets every Wednesday during term-time from 3.45pm to 4.45pm, and every Saturday 9.30-10.30am. Children of all ages can come and play with Lego and Duplo.
Coding Club- For children aged 7-11 Fridays 3:45-4:45pm. Booking essential.
Rhymetime- Rhymetime are held every week during term time on Thursdays at 2pm. For pre-school children and parents, carers, grandparents- all welcome.
Storytime- Storytime run weekly during term time on Fridays at 2pm. For pre-school children and parents, carers, grandparents- all welcome.
Home Education Group- A group for home educated children to review books and engage with others. Held the first Friday of each month. Just turn up!
