We provide opportunities for children and young people to learn and grow by:
*supporting youth work in North Yorkshire communities
*providing training opportunities for young people and those who work with them.
*providing adventurous activities from Carlton Lodge Activity Centre
The Youth Development Team at NYY is funded by North Yorkshire County Council through the Enhanced Youth Provision contract. There are three main aspects to our work:
*Support and advice for volunteer-led community youth clubs and projects
*Recruitment and support of adult volunteers befriending 14-19yr olds in North Yorkshire as part of the Buddy Network
*Direct Delivery of some previously NYCC youth clubs
