Our organisation is a registered charity. Over many years the Victoria Institute has provided a community space for Low Bentham and surrounding areas. Our management Committee work hard to keep this vital resource open and accessible to everyone, drawing the community together with all the associated social benefits.
We have a large hall,a fully equipped kitchen and a community garden which we hire out for private functions.
The Victoria Institute plays host to many activities, from a Dance School to a Community link Cafe` for elderly people, Tai Chi, Art Group, Book Swap, and Bat `N` Chat.
We hold fundraising events throughout the year ie: Street Market, Trash N Treasure, Bingo, Fairs and BBQ`s.
We aim to be in inclusive to everyone and are in the process of making the whole of the ground floor building mobility friendly.
