About us
PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide (under 35).
What we do
We operate a free and confidential suicide prevention helpline: HOPELINEUK. Our advisers are there for: young people under the age of 35 who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide; as well as concerned others, such as parents, teachers, friends, who may be worried about someone. Our number is 0800 068 4141.
We also have a range of Suicide Prevention training courses, which we can deliver throughout Cumbria.
