Grange & District U3A
Westmorland and Furness
Grange & District U3A was formed in 2000 and our continuing aim is to bring people together who are retired or semi-retired to participate in social, recreational and educational activities. We like to help each other and enjoy ourselves – and no qualifications are needed to join us!
We hold a monthly general meeting to which all members are welcome, where we listen to an invited speaker followed by a social get together over coffee and biscuits.
Most members also join interest groups, which usually meet once a month and cover a wide range of topics and activities such as walking, country dancing, birdwatching and digital photography.
Grange U3A arranges trips to places of interest at least once a month.
There is no need to worry if you do not have transport as our volunteers are usually able to arrange car sharing if necessary.
Grange U3A has an annual membership fee and where necessary each interest group will charge a small entry fee to cover costs.
