About us
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a Christian charitable company in the United Kingdom founded in Bradford, West Yorkshire by John Kirkby in 1996. It is a national organisation operating i partnership with local Churches providing specialist help for those struggling with poverty and the causes of poverty.
What we do
Struggling with debt or unemployment? Need some help breaking free from habits or learning new life skills? We provide local help and debt counselling for people in financial difficulty, including those in need of bankruptcy or insolvency. In addition we provide a Job Clubs for those seeking employment and a Fresh Start Course for people looking to overcome addictions and dependencies.
