Triple A Project (All About Autism)
Cumberland
Westmorland and Furness
Triple A Project (All About Autism) is an organisation with a specific focus on autism.
Based in Penrith, Triple A covers the county of Cumbria. As a project, Triple A was set up in January 2016 and in February 2018 received charitable status. The Trustees are either autistic or have direct experience through close family members, including founding CEO.
The aim of the Triple A is to promote social inclusion, for the public benefit, amongst autistic individuals and their families who are socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of being autistic. This is done via:
- Positive Pals (small social groups in various parts of the county)
- Navigator Programme (specialist one-to-one support)
- Providing coaching and training, co-facilitated by individuals on the autism spectrum
