About us
We are an independent charity and art of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales
What we do
We provide free, independent, impartial and confidential advice on a wide range of areas including debt, benefits, employment, housing, relationships, consumer issues and many other problems. We also provide energy switching appointments and Pension Wise guidance sessions.
We hold walk in advice sessions in Keswick and Workington where no appointments are needed or clients can make an appointment at one of our outreach sessions in Maryport, Aspatria, Wigton and Cockermouth.
We also gather anonymised information from the cases we deal with, and work with this evidence to help make a fairer society.
